Born out of the Walnut
Valley Festival campgrounds
several years ago in a defiant act of desperation
(no one else would pick with them)
they became infamous in the South Central
Kansas area.
Live Bait has now disbanded.
They had a
really great 10 years together and would like
to thank all of their loyal fans and folks
who just came out to hear them play.
Your support was incredible and appreciated.

From festivals to concert
halls
(and some questionable taverns), Live Bait
spread their infectious style of bluegrass
music
throughout the South
Central Kansas area.
It was insanity run
amok
when these four characters took
the stage.
Mackie Redd says of their
original tunes ...
"We don't write 'em ... we just make 'em
up."
And when it came to fish stories
these boys could tell some whoppers.
